Frightening footage filmed from the cockpit of a US Air Force plane showed a Chinese fighter jet swerve dangerously close as the pair flew through international airspace over the South China Sea on Friday.

The Chinese jet could be seen swerving across the nose of the American plane — coming as close as 400 feet — forcing the Air Force pilot to fly through its wake and leaving the plane shuddering and the crew bouncing in heavy turbulence.

“A People’s Republic of China J-16 fighter pilot performed an unnecessarily aggressive maneuver during the intercept of a U.S. Air Force RC-135 aircraft,” the US Indo-Pacific Command said in a statement, according to ABC.

“The RC-135 was conducting safe and routine operations over the South China Sea in international airspace, in accordance with international law,” the Air Force said in a

This happens quite often. Don't let them make you think it is a rare occurrence.
Russia and the US have been doing it for decades. It's a warning but mostly posturing.

This is nothing more than clickbait to try to push a narrative.

Because some people cant be bothered to have a brain here. Despite the name the south China sea is not owned by China but international waters with many countries operating in or traversing them with civilian and military craft both air and surface here is a non exhaustive list of just some of the countries other than china that use it most often, Brunei, Cambodia, , Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam.

How is this aggressive? this is a tactic used by not only Russia and China but also many western nations in effort to disrupt an aerial convoy or make non-verbal contact to another aircrafts pilots. People also need to keep in mind that the U.S and many other countries (quite more regularly since February 2022) seem to be flying inside international airspace but very close to Chinas and Russia's border in effort to agitate a response from them, which if an unmanned drone or a gigantic bomber capable of causing mass causalities were doing the same to the country I am living in I would expect the exact same interception!
