Building A VERY SIMPLE Off Grid Cabin: Roof Framing And Metal

I got the roof framed for the new off grid cabin build. I got half the metal on but couldn’t beat the darkness so I’ll finish it up next time. Then it’s time for windows and doors and I will be able to heat it! #diy #outdoors #homestead

I am an old Minnesota grandma and I do admire your fortitude and work ethic. It would be interesting to hear your wife's perspective on things, since she has a newborn and is living quite isolated. I know from experience it can be a challenging time for any new mother, not only physically, but emotionally as well. It can also be a lonely time for her. Lots of moving parts that men, despite their best efforts, simply cannot fully grasp. My best wishes for a Happy New Year.
