Meet Songfinch Artist: Jessica Gelinas

I’m Jessica, a Canadian Singer-Songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. My musical journey has been an incredible rollercoaster ride, and I’m so excited to share it with you!

My adventure began with the release of my debut single, “Let’s Race to the Ocean” in 2019. Since then, I’ve independently released seven singles, each one adding a unique layer to the story I’m telling through my music. It all came together a year later, when I dropped my debut album, “RSVP”. It’s a project that truly represents my sound and who I am as an artist. It was humbling to see “Astronaut” make its way onto New Music Friday Canada, and “Not About Me”, finding a place on playlists across various Asian countries, including Indonesia, Japan, Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam. I’m a proud graduate of Berklee College of Music, and my journey has taken me to exciting commercial projects in Japan. My voice was featured on television commercials and movies. One moment that stood out was my contribution to the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Movie opening soundtrack “Greatest Strength”, streamed over six million times on Spotify.
