It's one of my favorite idle games. It's definitely not for couple of hours, more like couple hounder hours. It's kind of complex at a start but later on it starts shining

I think you underestimated the skill that did 10 autoclicks until it runs out of stamina. That skill also does 50% bonus damage per level, and always costs only a single point to level up. Combined with the extra butterflies on critic hits from agility, you can get it to go on infinite time always running pretty fast and doing massive damage per hit.

I've played this game a bit and reached a good point to give you some pointers. if you can get a weapon to have a one gem base upgrade cost. it speeds up early game tremendously. save up your crystals for +1 skill points per level, makes each level much more powerful and there is a limit to how fast your clicks will actually help your speed in the game. I do enjoy the game a lot but it takes a while to get to the "prestige" stuff in the game. I have sunk enough time into the game to get 6 or 7 skill points per level and the wisdom tree is really strong in the early game areas since blizzard can get to use your weapon damage and has a multiplier in it as well along with a decent base damage when leveled. I like to used march and blizzard until you are not advancing fast through the zones then get the black wax and buff exp stuff and base damage after. but that's my strategy, have fun man.

I played this game and used the primarily the dexterity skill tree because hit has the height stamina regen and can counter balance the strength trees auto clicker stamina Consumption. Another fun fact to keep in mind is that with the way that damage and price scale the no name dagger can be made in to a very Viable weapon if price reduction runes and and base damage increase runes are attached to it.

Another interesting idle game is Stuck In Time (used to be called Loop Odyssey, but it got people confused with Loop Hero). It's interesting in that it's also a game that really has a beginning, middle, and end, which is unusual for an Idle Game. Not sure how well it would translate to a stream, though.

Not gonna lie, every time the music kicked in, I instantly checked my browser for an ad tab

Been playing this for almost a year now. It's an EXTREMELY slow burn, but I love it.

You know what's fun? You never putting a single point into that rage of darkness ability in the strength category at 1 strength, it's essentially the early game auto-clicker mode which becomes basically completely auto once you got some points into dexterity for them fireflies, not to mention the dmg multiplier ontop of it auto-spending your energy on clicks.

It's unfortunate that you barely got anywhere in your hour of gameplay though, didn't even reach the first boss at the 10th portal. Had you used rage of darkness in strength and just put all the wax into more gem value till it's about 8-20x, you would likely had gotten to portal 20-40ish, especially because you did the good choice of putting the stone of dominance into your noname dagger. Ah, another thing, the button directly left of your first item slot saying XI or IX, you can click it to toggle how many lvls you can lvl an item with a single click, so you wouldn't need to click lets say the dagger 25 times to lvl it to lvl 25, that could had been reduced to 1 click. I should unfortunately not say much more than this as I may otherwise spoil some of the fun for new potential players, but I hope these few pointers helps whoever reads it a start. The further you get into the game, the more auto-ish it becomes.

Ah, the sad times when I used to spend waaay too much time in this game.

From what I remember, int is good at first, but then falls off reaaaaly hard and you only get it for magic weapons or making flame spell cheaper. At least untill spending hundreds of hours or lucking into a passive that lets you get any skills in any order, and just going full lightning.

Dex is actually pretty useful later on, letting you spend 100 energy/second, but replenish it all with fireflies and bats or just smash the sprint button clearing all the early stages instantly.

Str is good overall for many hours, but I think it starts loosing to dex later on and you just get the auto clicking ability + march

Well, if you really like Orb of Creation with all the interconnection and layering, you can try Theory of Magic. But it's not that visually flashy, sadly)

Surprised this game is still getting updates, because the dev's first game (territory idle) is pretty slow and fun, but has multiple bugs left forever. And also because the dev has a third game (Underworld idle) which is like Swarm Simulator with demons and pictures. Numbers go up very much.

Territory's pretty much complete-able in a few months (just get a lot of free prime currency, repeat up to the third prestige a few times increasingly fast, and you're done) but it could use some polish.
Especially in the optional "conquering" mechanic, the game really considers it secondary to purchasing with money, so conquering doesn't help further conquering in any way.

just loaded mine up to check, I am currently at about 8700hrs

Game gets insanely deep the further in to it you go, the early game doesn't do it justice

What music station or player are you using when you turned off the game music?!?!?

Why did you level up your daggers instead of the sword when it gave 5x times the damage for less than the daggers, making the game even slower smh
