Tanjiro did have an engraving on his final blade but it was only the Japanese character for “Destroy.” It didn’t have the characters for “Destroyer of Demons” like all the Hashira’s blades. Also the engravings aren’t made of wisteria, they’re just normal engravings into the steel.

Another thing is that the hashiras look wildly different from other slayers like every demon slayer that we've seen other then the kamabako squad and the hashiras like all the other slayers have either black or brown hair and they're uniforms are the exact same color meanwhile the kamabako squad and the hashiras have different shades of the ds uniforms Correct me if im wrong.

I knew about the markings on their swords, even back when I was watching and the show didn't explain it yet, I knew right then when I saw Tomioka and Shinubo's markings on their weapons that only Hashiras have that but I didn't know about the golden buttons.
