Pep Guardiola says his success at Barcelona wasn't down to him, instead he says he had the right team and they were responsible for winning the Champions League. He says business is business and if he doesn't win the Champions League with Manchester City then he may consider himself a failure at the club.

That Barcelona team was based on a philosophy that Guardiola was a part of along with the players that went on to win everything with Spain

Whether he ever wins it again or not, I don’t think anyone will EVER forget how good that 2011 team was. The best team I’ve ever seen

It really is down to the players on the pitch at the end of the day. Its on the coach to build an atmosphere of success and structure of play, which pep is a genius at.

Pep probably created the greatest club side in history. He has had maybe the greatest influence on the game more so than anyone else. Every goal keeper now has to be good with their feet, and all teams now play out from the back.

Moving on Deco and Ronaldinho also takes someone very brave with self belief.

Real talk from a true legend and a very humble person, he doesn’t take any credit for winning, but he take blame for any loss or negative results, City are very f*cking lucky to have this man manager ✌🏻😁

Pep - i didn't win anything the player's won i was just there.

Jose - i won everything and no one but Pep can talk to me because he did too.

Pep's team has been playing amazing football from quite a long time but for sure he lacked that Luck a Manager needs on the Pitch. After all it's all about how players perform on the given day, a manager can only provide them vision of the game. Luck is important, you see Zidane won 3 in a Row but lack was on his side for quite a long, I don't blame anyone but circumstances for that too & it happens. As a Munich guy, I loved when Pep was Managing Bayern & I still think it was those players who were not Performing accordingly as they lost the hunger after the Treble. Even Karl Rumminnege knew that & was the reason he asked Pep to stay for more years . Still remember when Pep used to shout at our Players when they were just playin bad, I could see no hunger. Nonetheless, we always need Managers like Pep who makes Football exciting to watch even when their team lose.

Even as a die hard United Fan I love this man no wonder Sir Alex begged him to come united. Regardless of how long since he won the trophy his contribution to football is unprecedented and that's just a fact.

He's a humble man, someone in North London should show a little humility too instead of sitting there bragging 😉
