Not gonna lie, the 5.0 sounds amazing.

The fact that we are now having lightly modified pickup trucks running 5.5 60s is insane

Now just imagine if Ford made a 6.2 with the 5.0 technology 😂

People don't realize how fast the newer generation 2018+ 5.0 F150's really are, especially up top, and especially with E85 + a tune. It will surprise a lot of people.

Either way, it takes a 6.2 to compete with a 5.0

Let's not forget the 5.0 is also set up for e85 off the showroom floor and has some pretty decent gains just pumping some corn into the tank and the ecu adjusting for the added octane.

124% of the coyote displacement but still lost…. Flip this around and put the 5.0 against a Chevy engine that’s about 3.8 liters. 😂 This is no different than the old days when it took a 350 to keep up with a 302, and if called out for displacement discrepancy… Bowtie boys started crying about the 305 not being made for power. Just because it was a dog

I have a 2021 Roush Ford F-150 Supercrew, It has the 5.0 with 3.73 gears with the Roush exhaust. Truck is bone stock and weighs 5480 lbs with full tank (34 gal) I weigh 315Lbs. My best 0-60 on the Racebox has been 5.69 and my best run with the Draggy is 5.66. I have over 10 launches on each device. The best launch I get is 4 wheel high and Advance Trac turned off. I constantly run 60ft of 2.13-2.14. My race weight is 5795Lb.
Great video, IMHO trucks are very similar in performance. But on E-85 with an engine and tranny tune the 5.0 will kill the 6.2. You just cannot beat the volumetric efficiency of a4th Gen Coyote.

Great video! Ford surely nailed that 5.0 over the years. That engine is really a good canvas to start with. It loves boost, it loves tunes, it loves mods. Great engine.

The 5.0 revving higher through first gives it such a big advantage

What people fail to realize is that the 6.2 requires Premium Fuel whereas the 5.0 provides this performance at regular…

I’ve owned 2 coyotes and 2 6.2L both excellent choices. The true winner in recent years is the 10 speed autos strapped to these magnificent engines

I have a 2022 5.0 F 150. Fully stock with no tune I did a 13.6s 1/4 mile at 103 mph. Ford tuned these 5.0s super agressively.

I a fan of both these engines... Ford really needed that 5.0 ! . Both these engines are a complete different monsters in their own way as one of them runs out of torque at mid range and one of them keeps building torque all the way up to the red line so it would be really cool to see similar video comparison pulling weight to see how that effects them

Love all your vids chase! I’ll be switching my 2020 6.2 over to 3.73s soon from the 3.23s I got the pulsar lt and s&b intake too. That 5.0 is no joke though

I love my 2021 F-150 5.0! It’s still just stock for now, hopefully getting some performance mods for Christmas! New sub here, I like seeing these comparisons. Much love from Texas!

Nice trucks. Great video! I also have a 21 5.0L 3.73, with a Borla S-type Cat Back, 2" leveling kit, 34x12s, +18 offset. Super fun to drive! I've enjoyed your videos. Thanks for sharing!

Wasn't expecting the 5.0 that close in the 60ft stock tbh. Coyotes out there hurting all the feelings.
