This can also mean that we don't know what dinosaurs actually looked like because they also had hollow bones that couldn't fossilize fully. Maybe dragons were just another group of dinosaurs that survived the mesozoic only to slowly get extinct due to climate change.

As soon as King James came along, he managed to remove all the "supernatural books" I'm reading out of the "Cepher Bible which includes the books that were taken out not all of them. Those are found in the Ethiopian Bible containing 88 books. Anyway, in the book of Genesis, 1:21 in the older versions, they clearly state that they were dragons not dinosaurs.

I tend to believe that dragons and few other creatures had a cartilage skeletal structure and that is why fossils have not been found.

They're real but instead of winged lizards they're a flying horned snake. Also they were dinosaurs of the old as well before the word dinosaurs was even invented.

The book of the Bible speaking of dragons is Revelations, others speak of serpents Isaiah, Ezekiel, Jeremiah, Nehemiah, Psalms, Job, Exodus etc..
What this is referring to is :
Bel and the Dragon: after Daniel 12:13 in Greek, an epilogue; chapter 14 in the Vulgate. Daniel's detective work reveals that a brass idol believed to miraculously consume sacrifices is in fact a front for a corrupt priesthood which is stealing the offerings.

The narrative of Bel and the Dragon is incorporated as chapter 14 of the extended Book of Daniel. The original Septuagint text in Greek survives in a single manuscript, Codex Chisianus, while the standard text is due to Theodotion, the 2nd-century AD revisor.
