The day my wife bought one of these cars, the locking wheel nuts were "Wheed" over a hedge and standard ones replaced them.

The local tyre place to me has this tool, I’ve seen them using it in customers cars. They look like a good tool to have!

Hi Jimmy, wonderful/useful video as always ! I could have used this yesterday as I couldn't get a Peugeot wheel off vehicle towed to the tire shop instead. Cheers

Great video & info. as usual !! Wish i'd have had this kit on a Jaguar XF which took hours.

Great video. Thanks for the tool review.

Tyre company overtightened mine on a Focus. They couldn't remove them when I went back nor could anyone else! Was recommended to a place who welded a nut on each to remove them. How often does this happen I asked? At least three times a week he said!

Well done Jimmy BUT... I had Greenflag send out an idiot, circa 2010, for a problem with a bolt, on my 2005 X-type 4WD He used a lrger hammer and I stopped him BUT, the damage was done!! That was a Saturday evening, away from home as I would have sorted it out, with my tools'. ANYWAYS, come Monday morning... coming back across Richmond Park... turned up the hill and BANG! story cut short. Turns out that when he was WHACKING the NS wheel... he actually ruined the OF side driveshaft!! SO, be careful how gard you do this, still great videos'!!

Can you put the shroud on the driver before putting the socket on the end, then slide it in?

Cheers jimmy, so basically it’s a fancy impact Wrench, I wouldn’t be putting another lock stud back after that.

I had to remove one, all the local garages gave up on. It took me about 3 hours but eventually I got it off, but did have damage to the wheel 😢

Did the customer bring new bolts to replace?

What would this service cost? For all 4 wheels?

I've got the common McGuard type and it was easier to buy a new one online than to get a tool to get the old ones off. I think I lost the original key by forgetting to take it off before driving away. £35 is a lot cheaper than any other method. To be honest any dealer should be able to supply them from stock either from the vin or the key code if you have it or even visually. Do people still steal alloys these days? Probably easier just to steal the car.

The spinning ring breaks easily when a thin centre punch is used, the bolt is removed with normal bolt remover.no damage to the wheel.

Do people still actually steal alloys these days? I know it used to be a thing but I've not heard of it for years. Great video, really enjoy your channel.

Well done - with the correct kit / (expensive kit) its quicker & easier - I would like to see it do volvo locking wheel nuts though - honestly why would you bother producing cars with them anymore - unless you are running expensive rims - if you had a porsche or Maserati. They just steel the car 😂 🙏🙏🙏well done!

What's the point Citroen? Tyres look like they can still hold up for a while.
