Alex Brogan on using biotechnology to make products more sustainable and energy efficient

Dr Alex Brogan, Lecturer in Chemistry, chatted to us about how his research is furthering Net Zero. Watch the video to find out how he is harnessing the power of biology in particular nature's toolkit enzymes to degrade plastics back to their constituent building blocks, so they can be reused in chemicals or in new plastics.
