Steve, the Chargers got blown out by 20 points as 3 point road favorites because they were pre occupied with the L.A. Wildfires. Their minds were on everything other than football. The Rams will not make this mistake. I made them the favorite. I took the Los Angeles Rams - 2.5 (+140) to cover on neutral ground over the Minnesota Vikings. I am looking forward to an awesome, exhilarating contest.

Coming from a Vikings fan here, Rams will eliminate Vikings from the playoffs. Vikings cannot contain Kyren Williams or Puka Nacua. We saw this earlier this season. If Darnold doesn't show up again, this will get ugly fast. This comes down to Sammy's performance. Vikings DEF will be stout for the first half, as usual, and then collapse in the 2nd half. Sam Darnold's NFL career is on the line in this game. SKOL. 38 year fan who has seen this over and over. At least 1 missed kick / extra point by Vikes kicker. Side note: Vikings record in Phoenix is awful. Vikes 1-5 in last 6 games in AZ. However, that record IS VERSUS the Cardinals. I just hope Minny shows up.

Laying road chalk with Darnold in his first playoff start doesnt feel like the play here that’s for sure

I had vikings at moneyline, Washington +3, ravens covering, eagles at money line and sadly I had the chargers to win so my parlay died at game 1... on to next week...wish I would have done a flex. Wager talk tried to warn me to take texans at home. Maybe next time I'll be smart enough to listen lol

Have to think Flores has a different plan this time around knowing who is playing. The Vikings seemed to improve their man to man defense down the stretch. The winner of this game me be the team that stays dedicated to their Run game, to avoid ints.

I lost two units (that I'm looking to recoup)backing the Vikings during this regular season affair, and it was just a bad spot for Minn, and they couldn't sustain for a full 60 minutes, after arguably having the better of it in the first half. Obviously the Lambs on a good day can hang with anyone, but I think that their inability to sustain drives, due largely to Stafford's reticence to get out of the pocket effectively, will cost the Rams in this game.
If McVay gets Stafford throwing on the move, and moves the pocket around for Stafford, and the QB throws caution to the wind and scrambles more because it's a playoff game, then I think the Rams have a chance to put their best foot forward. Of course, there's also the likelihood that the Rams could always use/waste two of their timeouts in the first and third quarters, and end up shooting themselves in the foot that way to cost themselves the game as McVay is fond of doing.
