Even in France that bathroom bullshit happens. I remember because of the pressure of not being allowed to go to the bathroom during class, I ended up pissing myself due to not being able to hold it in any longer. Of course after I pissed myself, THAT'S when the teacher let me go. And during recess, she acted all surprise for why I didn't ask to go to the bathroom

I think the reason why teachers don't like hoods up in the class is because they feel like that students don't care, and in the truth, they don't, they just don't. Many teachers have set beliefs given by their experiences about understanding what students want, and since they spent so much time studying and learning, hearing that they could be wrong in their assumption gives them great dissatisfaction, so they deny that reality by enforcing stupid rules, like no hoodies, no communicating with other students, and no phones or laptops

My highschool didn't have most of these rules. I didn't realize how bad it was at other places. We be having entire buffets in classes sharing and it was awesome

I understand denying a bathroom pass to certain students that have shown to have a pattern of taking to long or not actually using the bathroom for its intended purpose, instead they go to just fix their makeup, hair, smoke weed or vape. But to treat all the students like they're the same and aren't telling the truth, that's just taking it to far.

My school has a rule we can’t bring our own pencils because many people one day bought multiple pencils and threw them at the math teacher we all hated.

An ironic thing abt my school is that we have to wear IDs (thing mandated by our police department to identify us in case of some emergency where we are lost during an evacuation), and yet they STILL won’t let us wear hoodies or hats? Cause if we have a hood or hat on, the teachers can still identify us through our IDs. Idk I think there’s a loophole to that but I still think it’s ridiculous

My school has limited bathroom breaks and only allows FOUR people in the bathroom at a time and we also can't use the restroom in the first and last ten minutes of class

My school DISTRICT has a rule about lanyards and IDs. If you don’t have one, then you will be unable to do most things in the school (entering/exiting school, using the bathroom, getting lunch, etc.) it started of just my school doing it, now it’s the whole district this year. It’s basically making the teachers and staff stop most students they would yell “Where’s your ID?” To top it all off, they say it’s for “safety reasons.” I don’t have a problem wearing my ID all day, but what are the “safety reasons?”

While it’s not a rule, it’s weird how in the high school I went to, different classes had different types of hall passes. Seriously, one class’s pass was a giant brick in the shape of Texas. It was heavy and I hated it.

In my school they put shutters on the bathroom doors so nobody can use them and they only open at break, lunch, and recess.People were getting punched just to use the toilet. If it was an emergency in lesson, a teacher would be called to escort you to the toilet and back. Schools are unfair these days😢

Im at uni rn and i still have to deal with homework and waking up early for classes but the best thing is that theres like long break times and i only take like 1 or 2 classes depending on the days of the week, and i get like lots of free time that helps me relax and also spend more time on Homework that i have around days to send it. And im just personally shocked at the fact that im getting better grades in my first semester than the entirety of my High school life alone.

Im glad my school is slightly lenient, i mean they’re strict like no hoodies or phones (mind you im in 8th) grade, but like even tho the polices are strict the teachers arent. Another thing is a lot of kids have ADHD or ASD nowadays, but the school systems tend to don’t acknowledge it. Granted i dont have either one, but seeing people get in trouble or labled as troubled (not in my school for the latter) is sad. However those conditions don’t justify the behavior or outlandish actions (because some of yall are INSANE💀) but it provides a slight reason for it.

My school completely banned hoodies, you cannot even wear them. And not just the hoodie top like the whole thing.
