all hail the new boss....Toyota has done it very well this time. this doesn't feel like an overpriced car anymore. super awesome product.
space, comfort, power, and great fuel economy which is better than diesel. Along with Toyota's reliability, this becomes the perfect combo for customers.
finally, we can see that Toyota has launched an international product in India with Indian pricing conditions.

Toyota has finally added the much deserved kit to Innova and the performance/efficiency numbers look great for such a big vehicle. Hopefully they price the variants right.

Wheels are small compared to the size of the car. Could have stuck with 18 inch rims but higher profile tyres

2 things you will definitely miss is that the sturdiness of ladder frame chassis and control of rear wheel drive on corners.

This is a quantum leap over the previous gen, pushing the envelope wide and making it almost impossible for the competition to catch up. It would definitely cannibalize the sales of the Fortuner for sure which has started to look tired compared to this Innova Hycross. Waiting for the price announcement; surely would be 35-40L OTR for sure; making the Gloster and Carnival appear really VFM! What about the price of the Innova Crysta which is going to be on sale with this: bet they'll remove the automatic option in the Diesel Crysta and make it suitable only for the cab market. Boot capacity of the Innova Hycross is astounding.

Given that the Innova is going to be majorly chauffeur-driven, I hope that there will be a mid variant that skips all the driver-focused features (including ADAS), and also include a manual drivetrain, while retaining the second row features.

Wow. prices are skyrocketing, in 2018 when I was checking out cars all were 5~6 lakhs cheaper than today's pricing. Now a days every month there is inflation, don't know when the bubble will burst.

Toyota should offer the same steering, infotainment screen in all their cars, which will make a difference in their and suzuki cars

I think Li-ion batteries are better suited for hybrid cars than nickel hydride. Although both have their pros and cons...the less weight or Li-ion and their charge & discharge ratio are better suited for hybrid cars. Thoughts??

Innova should put the ADAS, sunroof, the back seat leg rest and a few other features as an option and come at an aggressive price point to attract buyers, and most of them aren't gonna use much of the features like ADAS, so it'll be great
