I enjoyed this video.  I have a '97 Paseo Convertible, black, like the one you had.  I repainted it European Black which is a mirror black.  It doesn't have metallic like the original paint does.  I refer to the engine as "Small But Mighty".  Everything still works.  I fixed rust at the rear wheel opening.  I don't use it in winter anymore and happy to have a garage for it.  I like having a car that's different from other cars on the road.  Last year at a gas station I was filling up and a Toyota mechanic was smiling from ear to ear at seeing my Paseo convertible.  He thought the Paseo convertible was a rumor because he had never seen one in his many years working at the Toyota dealership.  Thanks for making this video!

I had the 92 model in 91. As a college student I drove it hard. It never gave me an issue. Was a very reliable car.

Ive owned my Yellow 92 Paseo for almost 7 years now. I just recently swapped a 4efte Starlet swap in it. That 100hp is now going to be around 250 hp. One of the best cars ive owned and definitely gets peoples attention since mines is lowered with wheels and has a custom lip, side skirts, visors etc.

I own a 92 paseo just broke 300k mile coming from Georgia to Michigan oh and it was a 5 speed but unfortunately 1st and 2nd gear was completely gone swap with a 4 speed from a 87 Tercel and it runs like a champ 💪💯👌

Very interesting. A Toyota Paseo and Honda CRX both did amazing things with affordable horsepower. And they cost less than the Toyota Celica, Scion tC, Acura RSX, and Acura Integra.

It's a very low cost, very fun, zippy little 100 hp light weight car. Great for back and forth to work and shopping. It is Fun !
It's a '' My First Sports Car '' all the way... When you can finally afford a $295, 000 mid mounted rear engine, you will still have fond memories of the little Paseo you had as a kid... :-)
