The story of Lapoint - how it all started

This surf documentary takes us back to when the dream of a surf camp was born.

It all began in 2006 on a surf trip to Ericeira, when the two childhood friends Sebastian and Peter went on a surf trip to Portugal that would change their lives forever. The duo became a trio when they met Alexandre, a local guy who shared their love of surfing. During the trip, the spark to live the surfer's life was lit and they decided to start a surf camp of their own. Not long after, they were joined by their old friend Göran. And the dream was brought to life.

I visited Lapoint Ericeira for one surf week in June last year. My life transformed in so many ways. The conclusions I came to when floating on the surfboard changed how I see life forever. THANK YOU so much Lapoint team for bringing so many talented and incredible humans together and facilitating the transformations of people's lives. I filmed some moments for a video from that week at the camp that I rewatch sometimes to remind myself of my thoughts from Ericeira.
