The Lion King Trailer Side-By-Side Comparison (2019 vs 1994)

Another trailer dropped for the live action remake of Disney's animated classic The Lion King, and it gave us a ton of new footage that hearkens back to the original. Let's take a look at the trailer side by side with the 1994 film and try not to cry!

The original is far superior because it actually has an art style, realism and great effects are not all that matters I can actually see what they are feeling trough their expressions something the new one doesnt have

The original will always be the superior version on so many levels. For one, the voice acting on gave more expression to every word each character uttered versus what sounds like actors just reading the script into the mic in the remake.

I like chiwetel ejofor, I do, but if they brought back James Earl Jones to voice Mufasa, why couldn’t they bring back Jeremy Irons to voice Scar, that last line about destiny, I would love to hear from Jeremy Irons.

Even though the remake isn't really all that appealing, you cannot deny how impressive the CGI is.

Would have been cooler if they worked with the Jim Henson Company and made it mostly puppets and practical effects. This version seems souless tbh. We never got enough movies like Labyrinth and the Dark Crystal.
