This is the only real-world use case you ever hear about cryptocurrency. A fool-proof tool to steal real money from gullible people. That's all it's ever been good for. That and gambling. The whole argument about, "it's too complex for normal people to understand" is just smoke and mirrors to hide the fact that it doesn't actually do anything special at all. After all these years you'd think you could use it somewhere for something without jumping through a million hoops and a ton of risk... but nope it's still a desolate minefield
