Almeria Spain - World's Largest Concentration of Greenhouses

A montage of footage from my 2 weeks in Almeria Province of Spain. It's got some of the greenhouses on there but most of the footage is of normal every day things in that area, not just greenhouses.

Sherry Lee - From 1:03 - 1:20 are shots from inside a couple of greenhouses. Unfortunately, the season wasn't the best for being inside the greenhouse - not that much going on. However, I still wished I could have seen more greenhouses but time wasn't unlimited.

This is quite different from the glass and steel greenhouses where I live. Here it's 2300 hectare so I wondered how Almeria-size was even possible. Turns out it's pretty much plastic covers, not full-on greenhouses with their own completely controlled climate and lighting system and other regulation mechanisms.

Roquetas del Mar Has a lot of So called greenhouses" Plastic Ones" Some people living there were complaining that there were to many of them in the area. Spoiling the place so they said and I agree with them. That was ten years ago perhaps it is worst now?. I hope not Really do

Thi is the best agriculture in the world. With less water there are more kilos. 100% of the materials are recycled, the farmers are qualified ... there is a lot of ignorance from the environmental lobby.

There are very serious concerns over slave labour being used in these places, African migrants shipped over without papers and basically held as slaves here!! These poor people live in slums there and are breathing acrid fumes from fertilizer without ventilation all day.

The greenhouses are only in a part of almeria.

you should record the nice areas and the spanish people.

The plastic is not recycled and after use they dump them and they end up in the sea plus they treat their workers as slaves.
