A new week brings more focus on Michigan for the presidential campaigns. Vice President Kamala Harris is in Royal Oak with former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney.

Dick Cheney had 13% approval when he left as Vice President. Liz Cheney lost her seat by 40 points. Even Republicans hate these monsters. What is this really about?

Believe me, I disagree with Liz Cheney on many issues and the whole Halliburton thing was disgraceful. But as a resident of California I have also felt weighed down when Kamala was AG here and I see some things about both I can work with. I believe Kamala’s strengths are on domestic policy, while Cheney seems to be good at foreign affairs. But I believe good ideas may come from different folks as Harris has said. So I’m on board with what Harris will bring to the table.
