I can't think of a better name tbh. In the beginning Mixed Martial Arts reffered to pitting styles against each other. Jiu jitsu practioners vs boxers. As the sport evolved, Mixed Martial Arts has become something of a style in its own right. I am aware that is something people still debate, but using your boxing to setup a wrestling takedown and then using your wrestling to take the back and apply a jiu jitsu style rear naked choke is in my mind an MMA style of fighting. GSP is a great representation of an MMA fighter.
