How to Replace Huawei P20 Lite LCD Glass Screen | Screen Replacement

This is a tutorial video on how to take apart and replace the LCD screen on your Huawei P20 Lite. (The entire LCD+Digitizer+Glass screen assembly+frame)

Its the same procedure and same glass screen used for all carrier models.

I used the following tools:

1. Small Phillips head screw driver
2. Hair dryer or Heat gun.
3. Prying tool

Its WORKING perfectly, thank you!
I placed some books on it (not on the camera part) to hold the glue while it dry. I'll give it and hour or two and then check on it.
I used a blowdryer to open it btw, that worked fine.
It took some time before I dared, but after I went to my local repair shop TWO times, and they still didn't have the screen, I went for it.
This was SCARY and my hands are a bit shaky, your 'Pfff-whatever' tone of voice really helped.. xD

Definitely worth doing yourself. I got a shoddy replacement done in store for £80. The glue was running down the sides. Ended up getting replacement screens from eBay the second time around for £15 for both sides.
