maybe you could increase it with bloodpact, and let a zombie hit the other person while using overcome so he can keep up with you

Sorry but way off. Many people say you didn't use specific perks but I think you didn't even time the attack. Being hit gives a big boost to movement speed and that wasn't timed with adrenaline
