They're also being turned into showers, dressers and restrooms.

I’m glad the red phone boxes are getting a second chance at life. The word “iconic” has become over-used but in the case of the red phone boxes, it is absolutely appropriate. My first trip to the UK was over 50 years ago and I can remember being so thrilled when I finally saw one in the flesh. I live in the northeast US and occasionally I will see one over on this side of the pond, too.

I WANT ONE!!! In Arcadia California near the 99 cent store, there is a public telephone, but there's no Booth. I took a picture of it. To show on my scrap book of "Things not here anymore."

The Red phone box was never "quaint" it was and is an architectural icon an art work and should be kept for all those who have one close by not for self serving entrepreneurs.

Some are still around in rural areas. Idiots tended to pee in them or smash them up.

One thing I would like to know is that guy who got the contract to remove them does he actually own them as far I was aware they belong to the London city council and he was only asked to remove them doesn’t mean he now owns them so does he really have the rights to do them up and sell them for a fortune ?

"And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart, but in pretense, says the LORD." (Jer. 3:10)

A man went inside a telephone booth and dialed the number of a friend. When the connection was made, the friend kept saying, "I can't hear you; speak louder." All his friend could hear was the sound of the roar of the traffic in the background. He then said, "Shut the door so I can hear you."

For us to truly hear God's word and be totally committed to Him, we must shut the door to the outside world. Worldly interests and enticements distract us from serving the Lord. Let us set our minds on and seek first the things above so that we can serve God with the whole heart and not in pretense.

If you vote for Trump, he will give you a treat! (Like hamburger, or milk shake). Trump for President - not now, but in 2032! Trump for President - not now, but in 2032! (He's too busy right now to be president.) Thank you.
