Great episode I always kept away from this type of lure thinking it was hard to work. Seeing this shows me that it can be done w/o that much effort Easy for an old guy 🤣 Cant wait to get out there and try one. BTW can you do the same trick removing the belly hook and shrink wrapping the back hook if you are getting hung up in thicker cover. Keep em coming Good hunting out there.

This has to be one of if not my favorite lure, tough choice between Glide Raider. I bought my GR first when I first saw that PB you set. The walking raider doesn't catch me the same numbers as others but the strikes are incredible. Full on great white shark head to tail breaches 🦈 dancing raider is also awesome.. that one catches me more numbers for sure and the strikes are spectacular too but i dunno what it is about throwing a big lure for some big fish, just love it 😂

Chas, do you prefer topwater gliders that run on top of the water or rather through the surface? I prefer the latter, which runs through and sometimes just below the surface. For comparison reason I would say a high floating Giant Jackpot vs a deeper running Cobb’s Top-Zee glider. I fish for Northerns in Europe so we use smaller topwaters mostly.
