FernCrafts: Den. Hibiki repotting- Jan, 2017

Dendrobium Hibiki is a compact mini dendrobium that I've had since Aug, 2015. She's been faithfully blooming for me from Aug to Dec each year with bright beautiful flowers. Its time to repot her for the first time, as she is in such a tiny pot. Enjoy!

Hi Christine, I've one in my collection and I love it. She still has some flowers and therefore she's still in its bark mix she came with. As soon as she looses her flowers I'll repot her and change the media.
Yours has a good root system and looks very nice. Please don't forget to water her 😉.

Good morning dear .
I got a Den. Hibikii . Its small in size and blooming now . its now 5/6" only.
Two i like to pot . one mount.

They are in coco chips compact potting . To mount should i mount on moss or on the media it is now potted ? and for potting should i remove chips and use bark or take one size bigger pot keeping old media and put brick chips around it ? B coz it’s not our growing season . How you advice for two execution

I saw a really good one of these at the last show I went to (Nov.) - I popped outside where my phone could get a signal to do a quick 'look up' before I bought it and when I returned - gone! Still on the list.
