how did they fit the woofer into such a shallow box?
i built a passive subwoofer just like this Buchardt Sub10, but i had to use a shallow driver, and those you can tell they are shallow from the cone shape.
that form factor is amazing for small rooms, i have mine placed on the sidewalls and crossed over at 180hz, amazing results.

Can I ask your advice plz ?🙏..you mention that to cross over at 80hz with the A10s would de ..burden them of the low base and maybe improve midrange .
Buchardt themselves offer a Mastertuning for the A10 cutting the bass off at 60hz so perhaps intimating that below 60hz is a good starting point for the new sub .
Would you say that 60hz or 80 hz or dare I say 70 hz is the best crossover point from A10 to Sub10 ..?
I appreciate sub 10 is not released quite yet ( I have 2 on order ) but the where the A10s hand over to the sub will be critical 👍

Ive never needed a subwoofer so immediately. I wonder if i can run a pair before the preamp as they say, and run room correction on the entire system including my then other pair of different subwoofers?

I have a TDAI-1120. Would it make sense to add this subwoofer combining RP and the internal capabilities of the Buchard (or ignoring them?).

What would be better: the A10's with this sub, or the A700 LE's without a sub?

What’s the point in having room correction inside a sub? The idea is to correct for more than the sub frequencies at least up to 200-300Hz. Am I missing something here? Also, what is the RMS power? Quoting 'peak' power is lame and seems designed to fool consumers, in my book.

Why not just buy a nice powerful pair of three way speakers like me with 15 inch bass units. I have a pair of Jamo Pro 400ex speakers and they are great. So stop buying bookshelf and buy 15 inch speakers.
