It looks like how I remember it looking when I originally played it on the Xbox 360, obviously that's not true but we tend to remember things more fondly than they were. I am glad this game is still getting lots of love, I wish the original Demon's Souls had a PC port so it could also be preserved.

I am a dumb casual who only played DS1 (Remastered) once, years ago.
It wasn't clear to me what the mod did from watching this video.
Then I opened the mod page and read the description. That's a massive list of improvements!
A side by side would be really beneficial!

I didn't really "see it" until you walked under the arch toward the Firelink ruins. Then it looked shockingly good. Those light shafts and soft shadows are amazing, particularly the player's. Very well done!
