We’re back for another Fan Debate, brought to you by Sky Bet. I’m joined by Jamie Carragher, Roy Keane, Josh Denzel and some of the biggest fan channels across England.

With the Premier League returning we discuss some of the biggest topics, from Ten Hag or Pochettino, to Chelsea’s sanctions, the state of Everton and so much more.

Really enjoyed this one. Give this video a like if you enjoyed it, and let me know who you want on future episodes of The Overlap.

00:00-27:11 Ten Hag or Pochettino, how the Glazers can fix Man Utd & should Maguire be captain?
27:12-38:18 Chelsea and ownership within football & are the sanctions fair?
38:19-46:24 The rise of Arsenal & Arteta, and will Arsenal make the top four?
46:25-54:01 Is Conte right for Spurs? Will Kane leave the club?
54:02-1:07:52 Liverpool vs Manchester City, who will win the league?
1:07:53-1:20:42 Could Everton or Leeds go down?
1:20:43-1:31:13 Q&A

Whenever Roy Keane smirks or giggles I know I’m not the only one that feels this odd sense of joy.

For everyone saying this should be weekly, it’s quality over quantity. Having it for international breaks give more context between shows plus it fills that void when the games aren’t on. Brilliant show

Josh almost went an hour and a half without saying “we could talk about this all day”

17:11 look at Carragher’s reaction when Gary says greatest player of all time. A rivalry that never ends 😂 I like that.

‘You’d have to be an idiot if you didn’t come across well in an interview’. Typical, classic Keane. 😂😂

Every single Overlap episode are unbelievably good. I enjoy this waaaay more and I think its because of Gary, Jamie and Roy being more as themselves, honest, relaxed and no pressure. The banter are all amazing too. Thank you Sky.

Roy Keane is so humble. Always talks up the players and leaders around him at the time, and says he was never the best player. He in fact was often the best player on the pitch for Man Utd, and was one of the best all round players in Europe in a phenomenal era for football.

Harry Maguire needs to take a leaf out of Jordan Henderson’s book. Constantly having step up a level, reinvent his game to keep his spot, playing under one of the most demanding managers, and having to take the armband off Stevie

Gary does make me laugh... He's 50% spot on and 50% completely delusional. I can't work out if he's on the wind up half the time or just so wrapped up in what he thinks man utd are versus other clubs stature.

As a fan of the premier league living outside of England and Europe, content like this is fantastic because we don't get to see a lot of it. I feel like I'm part of the following when I get to see local content and see how many ex players and fans that love the game! Please keep doing it!

Carragher is spot on with Arsenal. Might not be winning anything but there's something good going on there. I know it's not on the same level but very similar with my local side Plymouth- we're not top of the league but we're in the playoffs, the football is good and the fans love the manager
