A car I don't think you can go wrong with. Yes CVT & FWD still remain bummers but for most folks they won't care; I take a Maxima over a equally priced Audi A3 or Mercedes CLA anyday.

that's why i waited! I got a 2014 Platinum model for around 18 when it was almost 40 when it came out....it's not really worth buying cars new..

For the price its the best full size sedan out there.

I don't understand people when they say cvt is junk or Nissan is junk, if you take good care of your car it will last longer but you can't expect to have 0 problems for 10 years and complain if you do

I ruled this car out mainly because of the CVT but for some reason I keep looking @ it

Excelllent vehicle, just keep in mind its not if but when, perhaps 89k perhaps 107k miles, the CVT will have a problem. It cannot be "fixed" only replaced. Aside from the CVT it is a great vehicle, just keep approximately $5000 aside for the CVT. The rebuilds shuold easily last another 100k miles. My 2015 Rogue CVT failed at 89k and I know others with Nissans, their CVT's were replaced. Yes maintenance was kept up. No it was never beat on. Zero gravity seats are wonderful, your back will thank you for that !

Thanks for the reply. Would be always nice to know how these more luxury cars are on the highway in regards to wind and road noise as well as smoothness. So many nice cars out there but many aspects of the car change when you want to drive long distance or commute.

Just bought one.. but of course the price was high like all vehicles right now. Paid 23k plus more for a warranty with 64, 000 miles on it. Has 20" rims on the one I have black on black which makes the ride much rougher in Louisiana to drive.

I love your style of talking 😍
You're honest and and you help decide what cars we buy, and that's what cars channels are for
Good job guys 👌🏻

I feel like I watch this channel regularly and I don't feel like you have intermittent updates on these models. It seems like one test and then a long term wrap-up. Am I wrong?

I want to say yes to the Maxima but it lacks some creature comforts you can find in other sedans that cost a lot less than the Maxima.

Concern about CVT? Any feedback. I already bought a 2018 Nissan Maxima SV, on July 7, 2019 for $29K (last one on the lot, got a deal). I read suggestion "change transmission fluid at 30K miles, not the recommended 60K miles", cuz maybe that'll make the CVT transmission stay healthy. Anyone with a 20??-2017 Nissan Maxima have CVT problems? Thanks.

If they just had GKN AWD and a ZF 8 speed this car would have been 100 time better.

You can get hem for over $10, 000 off though so there is that.

These reviews have to be done with mid range models. No one buys these loaded $30k family sedans
