I DIED LAUGHING the first time I saw this, and was so happy they did too. This followed a very loud, comedic, dialogue-heavy exchange in the dub. His delivery of “Maria” was COMPLETELY straight, and I was fully ready for a serious musing scene about Shadow’s missing her. Instead, this explosion and abrupt fade to black totally kills that entire tone. I guess it’s less funny in this short clip since the abruptness is spoiled somewhat by the clip being only 18 seconds long, but me being able to come watch it by itself is worth it. And thanks so much for keeping all their laughter in, too.
