When the snow melts, capture the water so you don’t have to tell us about you “record” drought this year

Without him saying 2, 5 foot people stacked on top of each other there would be no way I could ever fathom what 10 feet looks like.

Tragic. All those nice big expensive mansions buried in the snow. I feel bad. Don’t you?

Everybody's biggest concern should be getting the snow load off their roof.

Back in 2015 in Boston Massachusetts, we got back to back blizzards dumping about 10’ of snow. We had our snow removal working the minute it began snowing and the city was still overwhelmed by it. Can’t imagine that happening in an area without the equipment. I’m sure your governor will lend some of his hair products to melt the snow.

In Buffalo, a city of 500, 000, people who called 911 during the Christmas eve blizzard were told there are no services available. A small group of vol. snowmobilers were able to save some lives, but 40 people perished. Sometimes, help isnt coming.

I live here. The worst we usually get is 2-3 feet. I knew a storm was coming so I loaded up on groceries. We have a snowblower. But we didn’t realize THIS. MUCH. SNOW would fall. Our snowblower broke and they haven’t plowed our roads so our cars can’t get out. This is very unusual and no one was prepared for this much snow in this short of time. I think the worst thing is they aren’t plowing roads other than the main highways so we are all stuck in our homes. We dont have the stuff like snowmobiles and personal snowplows because we’ve never needed it. And you have disabled people living up here, elderly people, low income, people who have been fine living 30 minutes from the valley and close to family and work are now completely stuck. They just need to plow our neighborhoods and then we can drive to Walmart. It’s insane!

Where is the "hero" with the snowmobile? Those guys are never around when you need them.

Big Bear gets 120 inches every year. This is totally normal.

If possible they need to get that snow off of their rooftops. I live in southern WV. And in the early 90's we had 24 inches of snow. Churches, Kroger's, and some people homes caved in. There were three churches including where I went. All less than a mile apart. Two churches caved in ours didn't. The men in our church were able to clear the rooftops. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of them.

Nothing a little hard work and shovel can't take care of.

That is not even that much snow, seems like they are not prepared properly. Yes they do not get that much normally though they should have still have had a way to deal with such circumstances.

I live at the base of those mountains and we normally don't get snow. I woke up last Saturday to snow in my front yard. Pretty crazy.

Because it’s California the state should use drones to fly in emergency supplies of Eskimo Pies to the snow bound residents!!
