Peacemaker Season Two is the upcoming second season of the of the DC Extended Universe television series Peacemaker for the streaming service HBO Max. The series is based on the DC Comics character Peacemaker. It was renewed on February 18, 2022 and is Expected to Release Following James Gunn's Superman Reboot in July 2025.

Most projects are new characters or old heroes confirmed to be getting recast. So what it seems like is that Gunn is just making a few exceptions for characters he personally likes and thinks are important (from his own existing DC projects) and Xolo from the well-received, DCEU-disconnected Blue Beetle. As the co-head of DC now, he can do that, but I do think ultimately this is going to be more of a clean slate than it initially appears to be here. But you can understand the confusion, certainly.
