The worst experience was when he had to devour a whole raw slab of bison's. And guess what, he's a vegetarian!
Additionally, the film's villain, Tom Hardy, has an amazing sense of trust in Leonardo. Tom does not generally read scripts. Yet Leonardo pleaded him to read the script of Splinter Cell, another movie they would star in. Tom hardly read half the script and happily accepted the role.
