Dipotamos Dam | Sightseeing flyover

To the east of the village of Lefkara and to the north of the village of Skarinou, on the (Pentaskinos) Pentaschinos River, lies the picturesque dam of Dipotamos.

The dam was built in 1985, providing a water storage volume of 15 million cubic meters of water is the eighth of 34 major dams in Cyprus. Fishing can be enjoyed on the dam almost year-round. The waterbody is home to a variety of freshwater fish species such as catfish, carp, perch, bream, and others.

The dam is well-suited for hiking, and the slopes of the hills provide an excellent backdrop for landscape photography. The panoramic view of the dam is beautiful, especially in the spring and winter months.
