Glock magazine differences. What magazines fit ?

A brief look at Glock generation 1,2,3,4 and 5 magazines.
What’s the difference?
We look at 3 different gen 5 guns with slight differences.
Gen 5 Glock 17, Gen 5 Glock 45, Glock 19X

Did the 19X mag fit the gen 4 and 5 glock 17? I need that info before I buy a19x, wife has a gen 4 17, hopeing to be able to trade mags.Thanks again .

Glad I saw this. I have a polymer 80 g19 and the gen 5 mag worked until i put on a magwell. Then only the gen 4 worked

Bro, I'm thinking of upgrading from a gen 3 g17 to a gen 5. I've got gen 3 mags with TTI baseplates and this video answered all my concerns. You're the man.

Your gen 1 mag might be more worn than other newer mags so locking it maybe difficult?

so, i just picked up a couple G31 mags to use with x-grips in my G33, but they are used, and until they show up i don't know what gen they are, and i just read that the x grips don't work with the gen1/2 mags, and i am wondering why???

Thanks for posting this. I was wondering if Gen 4 mags would fit in a Glock 19 Gen 5, and even though you have the Glock 19X Gen 5, I'm guessing that it will...but if you know for sure and can tell me, I would appreciate it.
