MARANTZ TT42 Problem and solution (belt replacement)

Hi everyone, I want to share this video with everyone. Since I bought a second Marantz tt42 turntable with the same problem. Maybe someone will find it useful.

I had this problem after pushing down on the platter too hard. Followed the process shown here, but just refit the same belt. Problem persisted until after I put the platter back on. Now it seems to be working fine again.

the marantz tt 42, dual cs 404 and thorens td 158 / mov edition are the same turntable all got arm problems ( yours dont have problem just old belt that need to change )

Hi V.J. I have the same turntable and when I want to change from 45 to 33rpm it doesn´t work it´s always at 45 rpm. Can u help me, please. Thnk u very much
