"Crappie Fishing the River: Jigging Grass and Laydowns in SC Waters with ACC Crappie Gear 🚤🎣"

Get ready for an epic crappie fishing adventure in the South Carolina river! 🚤 Armed with the ACC Crappie Stix, ACC Crappie Snax, and the trusty 10lb copolymer fishing line, I’m jigging my way through the grass and laydowns to find some slabs. Fishing from my one-man boat, The Warrior, I show you how to work the structure and stay on the bite! 🐟

Why Jigging in Grass and Laydowns? Crappie love hiding in structure, especially in SC’s beautiful river waters. Laydowns and grass offer perfect cover, making them hotspots for big crappie. Using light, precise jigs and the right gear is key to success.

Target shaded areas and edges of the structure for aggressive bites.
Let your jig fall naturally to mimic prey and trigger strikes.
Move slowly along the grass edges to maximize your chances.
Gear I Used:

🎣 ACC Crappie Stix GSM 10-Footer: Perfect for jigging tight spaces. Get yours here!
🪱 ACC Crappie Snax Spring Cheese Jig: A proven bait for triggering bites. Shop here!
🎣 Chartreuse 1/8 Jig Head: Great for clear and murky water conditions. Available at FishUSA
💪 10lb ACC Copolymer Line: Strong, dependable, and perfect for all crappie situations. Buy it here!

I am from Pensacola. We don't have any big lakes, but we have many good river swamps. Peridido, Escambia, Blackwater, Yellow and East Rivers are the close ones. Lake Talquin and the dead lakes are waaay to the east and Mobile county, AL has a resivour two counties to the west, but the rivers are the best bet.

I’m from lower Florence county and I cut my teeth fishing the area you’re in. I also fish lynches, big Pee dee, Santee River, and Cooper River. My uncle used to take me hunting and fishing on Woodberry when it was a dog club.

We fished smiths landing last Sunday and had to bottom fish to catch them on the beds near the trash piles. It’s ideal for a one man or Jon boat right now

After watching your videos, I'm sure Santa is going to bring me a 10 and a 13ft ACC Rod .... and I'm hoping to break them in here on the Black River, wish me luck because I have never seen anyone try this here but it looks just like some of what I see you fishing in your videos
