No high schooler would be seen with a Frozen folder or unicorn pencil case, but as a 36-year-old support staff, that is exactly the kind of thing I buy because I am not ashamed to love those things, and I know the kids won't steal them.

I feel ya! I have a 14 yr old freshman daughter and 17 yr old senior son, (and 19 yr old working son) and it tears me apart… I miss the young years 😢

It's sooo nice to have a Mom that cares and wants to buy things to help you feel good :)

Awwww, I feel this deeply. The transition is harder for moms than the kids.

Aww its hard for the mom's seeing their kids grow up so fast, days go slow but years go by fast. The mom's out there it's hard for them because the memories of there kids being young is so sad and hard, but it'll be okay ❤ I'm starting my first year of high school this year 😅😁😁😁 im excited, but all those mom's out there did a good job caring for there kids and buying them school supplies when they were younger, and did a great job at parenting and be there for them when they needed the most of having a parent or parents in his/her life. ❤❤❤

What really hurts is when you asked “remember Frozen” and she’d say “No”, I am always crushed when my Son says that to me about childhood memories, like how, how could you not remember?

This makes me want to remains a few weeks and say yes to every overpriced, absurd school supply my 7 year olds asked me to buy them. 😭😭😭😭 “$20 avocado pencil case which isn’t big enough for everything you need vs $2 practical pencil case? Of course we’re buying the avocado pencil case!” 😭😭😭 I’m going to regret that no so hard when my kids are in high school!

I feel you. My youngest will be a senior next year. She never wants any school supplies so now I buy what I like and donate it to our local charity that fills up a bus to give to needed kids.
Last year I did keep a Rug Rats binder, spiral notebook and folder set for myself though. 😂

Ur adorable Kim!! I feel ya! It took me years to get over seeing a school bus and not feel sad I no longer had anyone riding a school bus anymore....now I get giddy I don't have anyone riding a school bus anymore 😁😁😟🙏🙏

I’m in my 30s and you’re totally welcome to but my school supplies!

I’m going back to school (it starts next month!) and things are way more expensive nowadays. I think I used to get all of my supplies for the price of that one notebook you grabbed😂😂😂

Oh do I relate! My nearly 17 year old is not the same sweet little girl that used to get so excited about those things an now can care less. One year of school left and childhood is basically over....😢 hurts my heart ❤️.
