I would say that the sport of polo, tent pegging and spanish rejoneo or garrocha would be a pre-requisite, along with dressage.

Almost everything I know about jousting is from T.H. WIte's "The Once and Future King" trilogy. Or at least that was true until today, so thank you!

Glad you are back. You must have had so much fun. Was the chain mail heavy to wear ? I was watching a post on Henry VIII and it said that he got 2 head injuries from jousting one leaving him unconscious for a couple of hours. They wondered if they changed him as a person. It was interesting to hear the history of jousting and the armor worn. I do feel sorry for the horses though. Looking forward to more videos for 2022.
