Recently retired my XR I've had since launch, to an iPhone 12 and I love it. It's powerful and snappy even though it's several years old. I do light gaming on it and it handles games very smooth.

My xs max has been going thru hell lately because it feel from our roof. No cracks, but starts to get slow and stuff. Should i buy an xr or 12 mini? I think the best budget iPhone in 2024 that will still get iOS updates for another year or two is the iPhone SE 2020 especially if you get it from a phone carrier like visible the phone plan is only $25 a month and the iPhone SE 2020 is only like $130
