E-Image Carbon Slider Review

The E-image Carbon Slider has a special, continuously variable drag system. This solution makes the fine motion control of the carriage possible when directly moving this, the camera movement is soft, even, with well controlled accelerations and slowdowns, smooth starts and stops.
As usual, the linear motion of the slider is transformed into rotary motion by the toothed belt driven by the handwheel. The handwheel can be perceived as a flywheel whose rotational inertia can be continuously adjusted by the radially movable mass.
