OK, It works no matter what game mode your in, but, it's hard to tell witch way they're facing, but they all have to face toward the hole in order for it to work

To make this work for sure you need to get the *orientation* of the *last activated* portal block right. The easiest way to achieve this is dropping the portal blocks in a circle *around you*, but if you messed up and the portal doesn't come up, stand inside the ring, destroy one block and then rebuild the block while standing in the center of the ring facing outside and drop the eye in the block.

They must be facing towards the inside, the eyes and the ender slab thingy that you put the eyes in, you cannot just randomly place them.

I thought you were supposed to go into the middle of the end portal and build it from there, it works for me every time.

To make a n end portal u need the basic thing which u use know remember u have to place the eye of enders in one position and not just places the. If u look more close they show how its placed and then position should be straight and it should be not. Be side words the when u place the last eye u have an end portal this is the reason it keeps failing :) your welcome [can i have a like ?]
