I swear, this is the best book series ever. I mean, those books are just plain fun. They were SO FUN to read, and I loved how all the characters were written. I always thought it was an underrated series, and luckily, Disney thought so too. I literally didn’t know anybody else cared about the series as well.

There are so many little details in here lifted straight from the books! Reynie's mismatched socks, Number 2's pickle jar, the line about cheating, room 7B, the underground passage into Mr. Benedict's yard that Milligan climbs out of, Kate taking off the air vent. I'm so excited!

Wait - they're just revealing that he's a twin brother in the trailer? That's supposed to be a twist, and even Mr. Benedict isn't supposed to know that, since they were separated at birth! I'm hoping that since the audio sounded spliced there it's still a twist in the series. Other than that one worry I'm really excited.

as a huge fan of the books, this looks amazing and i'm so incredibly excited for this series! i just wish they would've made mr. benedict a tiny bit older. in the book's illustrations, he looks like a grandfather. but that doesn't damper my excitement.

The fact that it’s going to be a series is promising to me because that way they won’t have to cut out important parts of the book to fit an hour and a half movie format, you know? I’m excited, I loved the books and this trailer seems good so far!
