Dr. Debra Diamond left a high-profile career as a Wall Street money manager to pursue a life of purpose and spirituality.

Dr. Diamond is a best-selling author, speaker, Spiritual teacher and psychic/medium. Her books are, “Life After Near Death: Miraculous Stories of Healing and Transformation in the Extraordinary Lives of People With Newfound Powers," and “Diary of a Death Doula: 25 Lessons the Dying Teach Us About the Afterlife.”

Dr. Diamond is a former, regular CNBC commentator and Johns Hopkins University Professor. She earned a Ph.D. from the Esoteric Interfaith Theological Seminary, an MBA in Finance from The George Washington University, a Masters in Contemporary Art from Christie’s Education and a Certificate from the Jung Institute in Zurich, Switzerland.

One of my younger brothers - a firefighter passed about six year ago. We were close. My father less than two years before that. I was a nurse and with them to the end. They speak in your heart. I have a robin red breast came and sat on my foot in garden after my brother, then hopped up my leg and later started to fly at my chest - heart area. Honestly. I had a four year old with me at time. Then he proceeds to hop up back step and into hallway and living room. It's there if you open your heart to it and believe. It's NOT 'magical thinking'. It is about energy.

Wonderful interview. I love that Debra mentioned Hospice - they are truly wonderful people and angels. My mom had Hospice and very recently passed but she was in a sleep for about 5 days before she passed. I believe her body was ready but her soul wasn't. She hung around much longer than expected. It was actually so painful to watch because I think she was hanging around to see my brother (never happened due to COVID lockdown). I've had a strong desire to also work with Hospice. I want to give back and give my heart.

Another wonderful discussion that was just what I needed to hear. Last year I was told at least four times that I should prepare for the worst, while my mother was bouncing back and forth between hospital and the nursing home. She has now been flat on her back for ten months, but keeps telling me that she has taken walks outside. Yesterday, she was talking about a priest and people from her past in the room, so she was more off than on the planet. It was so good to hear about the soul having to process things before it is ready to go. I am so glad I tuned in!

I’m a labor and delivery nurse who wants to eventually transition to hospice and Debra nailed it. Alarm bells went off. Both are a process....Life coming into the world, transitioning from intrauterine life to extrauterine life is a laborious one so why wouldn’t leaving this world also take time? Both processes require emotional support and being present. I know, while I’m at work, that the other side is right there with me on their side helping to usher in the birth of a new soul.
