Bass Pro Shops Catalog Outlet Store... WOW!

Have been to the Bass Pro main store many times but didn't know there was a catalog outlet store thanks for the awesome video and information.

When BPS took over Cabela's here they closed down the outlet/return room and send the stuff somewhere else they don't sell it at a discount here

He's right, been there several times. Whenever I'm within an hour or two of Springfield I stop at the main store and the outlet store.

Rather than stuff people returned, it looks much more like the stuff they shipped over from the regular stores when it wasn’t selling. I doubt so many people returned all those worms and spinnerbaits.

I am from Upstate NY and so wish we had one of these stores near here. I would be there all the time. This place would be great if it was on line for purchasing

The wife and I go there every spring to catch hunting things on discount and usually once by the end of summer. Some things are mot so much discounted, somethings are a great price 😄 We live by Tulsa but its worth the drive on a winters day.

The Bargain Cave was the funnest shopping I've ever found in person. Sierra Trading Post, Steep and Cheap, and Camofire are where I find some very good deals lately.

Once I was at the Springfield Bass Pro store. There was a reel I bought and was carrying in my hand. Later in a show case I saw a reel that was much cheaper and same reel. I asked a clerk if I could get the reel for the same cheaper price. She said someone had mismarked the price and took my reel . I should have kept my mouth shut.

Sadly BassPro has ruined the Cabelas brand. Cabelas had great clothing, BassPro stuff makes decent shop rags. Too bad.

I'm agree many of those rod prices are good, but I am usually cautious about the Penn rods that would normally be part of a combo - like the Spinfisher line. Those rods are not sold individually, so if you see it should not have a retail price except for the combo price. So I would bear that in mind when deciding on the value of the discount. Most of those rods I would not pay more than $40.

I’ve heard great things about this outlet.Years ago it was rumored Johnny was going to put another one in on I-35 in Ft Worth at the old fin and feather boat center but plans got changed.This particular outlet sad to say is the only BPS Or Cabela’s both that has any deals.

Had no clue this place existed. Definitely doesn’t look like your usual Fancy Bass Pro or Cabela’s! Honestly looks more like an old local mom and pop tackle shop inside.

I bought a Lew's baitcasting reel and a scope mount base for 50%+ off. The selection is really random, but there are some deals.
