Those zooms to galaxies blow my mind every time

The ability of Hubble to reveal galaxies in the deepest darkest parts of the sky is absolutely mindblowing.

I don’t really understand any of this but, strangely, that doesn’t stop it being fascinating. Thanks Anton.

Merry Christmas Anton. Thank you for doing these videos. I look forward to them every day.

This was amazing, Imagine going towards that galaxy at impossible speeds, you’d see it instantly transform into the galaxy it is today

Is redshift detectable over shorter distances in a vacuum? For example: Can redshift be detected if a laser is shone towards an Earth-orbiting satellite from the moon?

Even we can see those galaxies only as tiny pixels, I still think they are beautiful.

Doing my major in social anthropology, I am super unfamiliar to natural sciences. But these videos you make, Anton, they are truly precious for someone like me who despite knowing only so little has a growing interest in physics and cosmology. Thank you for your work and merry Christmas!

Did he just address me as "wonderful person"? That is simply lovely.

i just got home from a painful physical therapy session, so an Anton video is, as always, very appreciated 👏

This is the best form of scientific journalism. Reporting on new releasing science, in an interessting way explaining it all in a way very simple to understand.

What ever happened in that far, far away galaxy happened a long, long time ago.... I’ll just let myself out now...

So glad you mentioned cosmological calculator. I took Ned Wright's Cosmology class when I was an undergrad at UCLA. Great guy.

So, when he says "just did", he actually means "did billions and billions years ag that we saw just now".

I am so early that my comment appears red shifted to everybody else
