Can’t say enough about what a great guy Tommy is. Busts his butt with the business, helps out Billy by donating his parts, filming… he deserves a LOT of credit! Great job Tommy!

Tommy, I feel your pain 😂
On March 22, 1979 my second daughter was born, it was a Thursday, brought her and her mother home the next day, Friday the 23rd after dropping them off we promptly loaded up, it was my sister, brother in law and their 2 daughters along with myself and my oldest daughter and went to the international truck show in Anaheim California, across the street from Disneyland. As we walked into the pavilion, sitting center stage was the brand new Bigfoot, watching my daughters eyes 👀 light up was wort the price of admission. My oldest daughter was born February 18, 1975 and attended her first race about 4 weeks later and was by my side from then on. Monster trucks, sprint cars, midgets and drag racing, every night that I was in the shop working on race cars, she was there, she would get tired and fall asleep in the seat of the race car.
Damn, the truck sure sounds good.👌

Now I'm impressed! That good ol Marty Robbins song! Just when I did think you could be any cooler, you achieved a whole new level!

I see that 79 Ford F150 Bigfoot every day, It's parked on a special display at the Pacific MO. welcome center. It can be seen while driving on I-44 just west of St. Louis. Pacific is the home of Bigfoot. I love seeing that truck as I drive by, it looks just as good today as it did back then.

I replaced my dad's with a set of headers that connected directly to the stock exhaust....5 years with no problem. Worth the 2 hours to install

Sounds nasty, so when`s the test hit? lol. It`s a miracle with all the rc trucks, that you are still married. Stay safe all, God Bless.

Tommy I worked with my dad for almost 10 years. There's a lot of fights a lot of good times most days the fights outweigh the good times. But I would give anything to go back to those days. Awesome video guys I'll try to watch everyone I can.

I was fortunate enough to have seen the Original Big Foot at the Pontiac Silverdome here in Michigan on several occasions. Thanks Dad.
The entire Silver Dome would be sold out, something like 82, 000+ seating for truck or tractor pulls and Big Foot would be on the ticket for the event.
Big Foot always put on a great show.
That is the King of the Monster Trucks. PERIOD!!!!
It was a legit street truck that kept getting bigger and badder.
A whole industry was born from Bob Chandlers passion for Bad Ass Ford trucks.
At one of the Silverdome shows Big Foot wore the tundra tires in a mud bog event, each of those tires were like twenty feet tall.
Back in the beginning before crab steering, the Big Foot truck was stolen from a motel here in Michigan not to far from the Silver Dome at the intersection of Square Lake Road and Telegraph Road, right up the road from where Jimmy Hoffa disappeared from the Redd Foxx Restaurant.
The thief put the truck into a ditch breaking the rear axle. I believe after a police chase, I could be wrong about that part, though the thief was caught.
So in order for the Big Foot crew to load the truck on the open flat bed trailer to get home to St. Louis, they put a spare front axle under the rear.
The crab steer monster truck was born from that incident.

I really enjoyed the Original Big Foot because it was still a front engine platform as God and Henry Ford intended.
The Original Big Foot is on permanent display at The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.
Also back in the 80's Bog Foot drove out into the Mississippi River for a float and drive around.
He beat the recent Whistlin Diesel stunt down in Florida by decades.

Bob Chandler is one of my favorite people in the whole world because of what he contributed to Americana.
God Bless and take Care
