Divine confrontation occurs when God wants to pour out new wine, while we're still holding onto old wineskins. It's imperitive that we let God administer divine wineskins upon us, that we can become whole and "repairers of the breach.

Ah, Matt, you are awesome!  I agree that time in the glory can renew our youth, both inside and outside.  I also have noticed a "mischievous" look on your face like you mentioned. Actually I am reminded of the Rock (professional wrestler) at times because you raise one of your eyebrows.  I must say, I am so edified and uplifted by your meaningful preaching and joyful attitude!  Praise Jesus!

Jesus said His Spirit in you is the New Wineskin, which you need to receive the New Wine that is the Holy Spirit.

In short it is called being born again.

This is the true meaning. The old wineskins is the old covenant the new wine skins is the new covenant. The new wine (covenant) must be put into new wineskins (believers). And no one who drunk the old wine immediately desires new. (New way through Christ) for he says the old is better. The old way through the 10 commandments. You cant have both covenants or it will ruin both. Jews and Christians believe in the same God of the Old testament but jews believe in the Old covenant not the new way in Christ. Earlier They asked Jesus why Johns disciples and Pharisees disciples fasted and prayed.(old covenant). And Jesus disciples eat and drink. (New covenant accepting Christ) you must eat my flesh and drink my blood. Then Jesus said when he leaves then they will fast.( when he dies) Then they will hunger and thirst. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for they shall be filled. All given to you with scripture not my opinion, this has to be revealed through the Holy spirit. Dont take my word but read the Word.
