Welcome to the seventh video in this not-so-mini mini-series on Java Serialisation! Sorry I've been away for a while, but I've been writing a brand new game over the last fortnight or so just to use in this series!

This is more of a preperation episode for then anything else, but next time we'll be getting stuck back in with planning and implementing the new WorldSave container class!

Other future topics to cover include class design using (simplified) UML, basic data encryption, Proxy and Flyweight design patterns, writeReplace(), readResolve() and dealing with multiple save files.

Very nice! I know it's not the main subject here but.. Are you using sprite rotation on the new game?
