Tarkov’s Suppressed Level 1 Trader Weapons

There are three suppressed weapons you can access at level 1 traders: The TT, the VPO-209 and the VPO-215. Today we look at each one, so that if you choose to, you can move around Tarkov quietly and attract less attention from other PMCs!

Early game Tarkov is all about questing and scav kills, so avoiding other players can be really useful. However suppressors are not that cheap, especially in the early game because there are so many things that you need to focus your rubles on.

I love the .366 weapons.
I already enjoyed using the 209 with the 10 rounders for a high ergo dmr style gun. Though it makes me wish for a middle ground 20 round mag.

Also tip for people: always check ammo of scavs with a .366 gun as they can spawn with ap-m. Sometimes get really lucky and come away with 120 rounds of ap-m

The silenced TT actually has a second niche - it's the cheapest weapon available for quietly shooting out lights in various maps. Not a huge one, but it is a use. (And doesn't give away what your main weapon is if someone is close enough to hear it.)

I think I'm gonna start running that suppressed TT build as a sidearm so I'll always have an option to take out scavs quietly when the need arises. Thanks for giving me the idea! I like carrying a secondary for scavs just like this TT. Keep it quiet and swift and cheap. Avoid giving away your position and don't break the bank. Also, save ammo for real fights.

Little word of advice for anyone wanting to get good suppressors once you hit lvl 2 traders. Save your RAM and only 4 of them gets you the hybrid which can be used on most guns.

Funny I got one of the suppressed TTs off a scav and I used it for a raid and kinda liked it got the TT trade off of mechanic and used the barrel and suppressor off my scav version and was a scab killing machine for a few raids I even got a PMC kill with it when my AK ran dry and I new York reloaded to the TT and got the kill

after you get more money UMP OEM suppressor is just pure enjoyment while playing with it. Also FMJ is good weapon so i recommend it after unlocking Peacekeeper 2. RFB is godlike on Lighthouse and Woods provided by Skier 2 with silencer from barter Mechanic 2. MDR 5.56 is O.K. with M856A1 after compliting The Cult Part 1.

I use the bolt 215 a lot on woods to scav hunt. Once I get nvgs, a night run on woods becomes a turkey shoot

Don't ignore that silenced TT. Yes it's hard to aim, but you can learn and train around it. It's *very* quiet, very affordable, and is excellent for silent scav kills, esp. at night

Honestly, the silenced TT is one of my favorite pistols. It's really nice for silently clearing out scavs without alerting other pmcs.

I actually got that VPO-215 build on a scav and learned about it that way. I find myself using the 209 more (even without the AK100 handgrip in 0.13) but I'll have to give it a try.

For cheap ak builds the M1-B gas tube hand guard combo is great imho since after selling back parts it costs almost nothing

I used to think that TT pistol was ugly as sin but picked one up a couple years ago cause I like them now lol. Need to work on the trigger though, it won't go all the way back and fire unless you pull it a certain way. Maybe I f'ed something up putting it back together after cleaning it lol.

Kinda weird they made that 762x25 AP-M round go way up in damage isn't it? Usually it seems as pen goes up, damage goes down.

i wish the Markov PB was a lvl1 trader gun as by the time you get prapor 3 you have far better suppressed pistols, having the pb and the tt be the level 1 suppressed pistols would pit them nicely against each other
